Silk Factory
Project Description:
We renovated a 160,000 square foot historical building that had operated as a Hosiery Mill beginning in 1922. We converted it into 116 apartments called the Silk Factory Lofts.
Exterior renovation work included replacing all exterior windows, the brick system, the roof, and all damaged structural wood flooring and roofing joists. The FEI team managed all Historical Commission requirements and approvals for exterior replacements.
Interior renovation work included installing new plumbing and electrical services as well as a complete build-out for 116 apartments, common areas, stair towers, elevators, and lobby. The Historical Commission required us to use many existing features, such as the wood flooring and ceiling systems, in the renovated structure. The project also required building an interior courtyard for the 2-story loft units.

Blair Garden
Project Description:
Blair Garden is a multi-family development made up of 18 luxury single family homes, each comprising 2,500 square feet. Blair Garden offers 2-car private parking; a rain garden with a boardwalk, and an outdoor park within the gated courtyard. Each home’s design balances luxury inside living balanced with an outstanding outdoor atmosphere.
Walnut Estates
Project Description:
We performed a full ground-up construction for Walnut Estates in 2018. The 16,000 square foot mixed-use building contains 9 units, 7 floors, and commercial retail on the first floor. These luxury apartments also include roof decks, wet bars, and custom kitchen cabinetry.
1 Brown Apartments
Project Description:
We transformed an old parking garage into 1 Brown Apartments: an 18,300 square foot luxury apartment complex located in Northern Liberties. The 21 residences at 1 Brown offer stunning studios, as well as one, two, and three bedroom apartments with premium features. The apartments also include a rooftop, a fitness center, and a heated resort-style pool.
600 on Green
Project Description:
This 28,000 square foot complex of luxury townhomes is a ground-up construction project in Fishtown, located on the corner of Green St. and N 4th Street. This multi-family build features a 4-story building with 10 units. We also offered specifications and upgrades to all residents.
Shore House
Project Description:
This 3,000 square foot family shore home in Ocean City, NJ was a ground-up build, located right on the bay. The home has 7 bedrooms, 7 baths, and an elevator.
Narberth Square
Project Description:
Narberth Square was a new 60,000 square foot construction project consisting of four stories, featuring a concrete-poured partial basement and a 14-inch concrete podium between the 1st and 2nd levels. The 1st floor retail tenants included a 14,000 sq. ft. daycare, a bank, a restaurant, and a dog care center, with new steel and fabric overhangs, a curtain wall, and storefront system.
The residential portion of the project featured a dedicated entrance lobby, mailroom, and three stories of stick-framed construction above the concrete podium. The upper floors house 25 luxury apartments, each with spacious exterior patios on the 2nd floor and well-appointed decks with railings on the 3rd level. The apartments include two-story lofts, wood flooring in the main rooms and bedrooms, ceramic tile walls and flooring in all restrooms and showers, stainless steel appliances, designer wood cabinets, and stone countertops. The building also features a well-equipped workout gym for residents.
